Ski Trip.

Hello Bloggers, On Friday we went skiing and it was my first time to go skiing and it hard at first then when I got the hang of it then it was easier to get around and then I went on the magic carpet and it is when you hop on this travel thing and it takes you up the mountain and you hop of then you go down the mountain and you go very fast and then Connor pushed me down the mountain and I went  very very fast it was the best time at Mount Hut it was fun for my first time.Have you ever been to Mount Hut or been skiing? I hanged out with some of my friends and took some photos we also had a race down the mountain and Bridget won and I came second and Michela came third  and Ashlee came forth and I was proud of myself because I didn't knew that I could go that fast down the mountain. my own poem

Hello bloggers, I am a year 5 at yaldhurst model school to day I am going to be showing my poem that I wrote myself. We only just started poetry put I have done a lot my favorite part  is writing my own poem. I love to write poems this is my first time to write a poem. here is my poem. This one is what inspired my poem and her name that wrote the poem is Valerie Bloom and some of the people did Pie Corbett. Here is my poem   

A trip to tardis

I would travel 10 years forward because I would be 20. I would of finished high school and I would be studying to become a vet. I want to be a vet because I love animals. I want to help them if they get injured or sick.  I love all animals but my favourite ones are a bunny, giraffe, cats, chickens, sheep cows, puppies and horses. I would be studying lots to get a good mark so I can be a vet.

Traditional Tales

Hello,bloggers your teacher miss Sprag teched us a new thing in class it is cooled blog tracking and miss Sprag tracked the year seven and eight and I did all of my friends. 

I have 18.7% Olivia has 20.8% Reane has 16.8% Lucy as 9.8%  Jorja has 21.7%.

MATHS IS COOL

How I taught my mum timestable 

1-  I found out if my mum could add
2-  explained what multplication means. example: 6x6 = six sets of six or 3x8 = 8 sets of 3
3-explained that you add the sets together. A larger set get's split in half you can not count on fingers or into smaller groups,  then add them together to get the answer
exapmle: (3+3+3+3) (3+3+3+3)= 12+12= 24

Was my mum able to learn and were there any challenges?

My mum was able to learn the method. The challenges were explaining what multiplication is and remembering the method that I had learnt in class.

Hello blogs, we went  to Avonhead School and we were in the  junior division and we were doing some funny dances like chicken dance the hot potato the pono and the moose the dates were my favorite then we sang some songs the man and ladys helped us to get some things that we need to adjust.
