KAPA HAKA

 

HELLO bloggers, 

Wednesday 2nd of December we went to South Hornby school to perform a KAPA HAKA pafromice.Mostly all of our school whent to perform it was really cool to see all of Yaldhurst Model School enjoying there self like all of the other school . We where the 3rd group up it was really fun I did not forget a single move. We and lodes of fun we played on the playground I saw lots of people that I knew it was really cool experience our KAPA HAKA teacher Matua Anton  was really proud of us thank-you Matua Anton for teaching us all of the moves and the songs thank you for taking up your time to come and teaching us the songs. It was really fun to learn fun to perform my mum was also really proud of me and my sister Addisyn she is in the younger part of it because the Year 1,2 and 3s did it together and the Year 4,5,6,7 and 8 s did it together it was really fun!!! . Bye Bloggers see you in my next blog!!!

Almost the end of the year

A bit about it ......

• The beginning of Week 1 Term 1 we started doing a program called pals it is when we play a whole bunch of games with all of the people that want to do it.

How they sign up to the games & who comes round and talks about what games you will be doing for the week + more.

• There is a printed out piece of paper that the pals designed for all of the classrooms this week Michaela Olivia & Alan where going to each classroom and talked with all of the kids in each class room this week Me Mykiala & Jorja when did all in tag and more than half of the school went to our game we played on the little feld . Today we played sardines on the little feld & the big feld it was really fun !!!!  we have lots of games to go but it is really fun so far.

hopefully it will be good for the rest of the week.

Episode 3 Bus

 HELLO BLOGGERS,

Here is my next blog about camp and this one is about the bus weel how do I start here I go it was really hot .

As you can probably tell and it was really cold when we first hopped in the bus then I got really hot so then I had to take of my jersey bt that is ok i am in the middle of the bus and I got a little sick on parts of the ride because it was really movie I got really really hot have you ever been on a bus ? what have you felt like when you where on the bus ?

 So fun some people did a scooby doo which is when someone slides down a hill and one of friends banans did a scooby doo and also it was really really cold. We also stopped there for some morning tea  and that was when the banana did a scooby doo .

 Hello Bloggers 

We are about to start our learning on Speeches in Rimu. When I heard this I freaked out because last time I cried in front of my hole class and I don't want to do it again. In order to set up our mindset for speeches. We used the 6 tools in the Mental Toughness toolkit. To create a motivational drawing of ourselves. We used google drawings and my DLO down below. While I was creating this drawing I thought about Mental toughness.The hardest part for me during speeches is going to be speaking it.The easiest part is going to be writing it. This made remember when I last did the speeches you brought me back to when I last did it , did you now that I have done this before?

On Tuesday 21 of July we did Cross Country and the year 6s ran 2.1 Kilometers I got so puffed my favorite part was jumping the hay bales. I love this and next time I could do a bit better next time.

Writing

Hey bloggers,  Delilah here and I have a navitive writing for you and it is really good but I also want our opinion of what I need to add and that kind of stuff  I hope you like it.We have just done 1 page of our new writing workbook and it is really fun to write and here it is and if you can PS can you check out some other bogs in our class that would be very good if you can.

Here is my navitive writing 

It is 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon and Jorja was on her phone of Tiktok and she was just watching some videos and then Bella text her and then they talk Bella asked it she could come over to Jorjas house and she said yes so then they went over there and they just sat on their phones and they also talked a lot but most of the time there were attached to their phones and they text there other friends they told then to come over and … they had the biggest party on there phones yes I told you there were attached to their phones even they sleep with them that it very weird and they also talked to there friends in the middle of the night . 

The Next day … 

It is 7:00  o’clock in the morning they are still on there phones it is really weird and there mums told them to get off but they did not listen it was a nightmare their fingers just keeped on typing it was really cool to watch it just keeped on going I got really dizzy watching that Bella whent to Jorja’s house and we played some video games and it was really fun to play video games then we stopped and we hoped of our phones and it felt very weird not having a screen in front of you put it was ok.

Then we went back to our phones and we realized that we don't need phones then we gave them up  and that was the last time we ever went on a phone but then we went on it after a year and it was good not having a phone for a year and know we will not speed a lot of time on it anymore and that it a good thing that we are not on  our phones all of the time that is why you should not go on your device all of ov the time also it is not good for you.

for Super 6 this week we did a experiment with glitter and dishwashing liquid and hand soap.

The dish washing liquid worked better than the hand soap and it was really fun.
